i'd like to know if anyone is tuning red 2013 as well. sram changed their shifter bar-clamp system. I had picked up a set of ti 7900 bar clamps, but they are no longer compatible with new red. while the new system is lighter than what came with old red, the clamps are still steel :\

The default bolts in SRAM Red derailleurs are already alloy. The always have been and they most likely always will be.

there are only steel bolts on the critical points(safety). I wouldn't change that to alloy ones, the gains are minimal compare to risks for your safety (brake fixing bolts,...)

I changed out the bar clamp bolts to Ti (M6 x 15mm) which saves 6g's, you do have to dremel the head length down quite a way to fit them though.

The rest I would probably leave as is, Sram have done a good job on the 2013 kit weightwise
