Anyone knows the "out of the box" weight for the F29 Carbon 2 (2013)?

Funny, I just got the Carbon 1, which is listed at 9.89 kgs on the above list. However, I've just weighed it to 9.40 kgs without tubes (but with Stan's), with a Specialized bottlecage (36 g claimed) and XTR 980 pedals... So I don't really trust those figures.

Gearhead65 at page 2 also says that "Out of the box" his F29 Carbon 3 weights 10,34.... that is what the Carbon 2 should be at if you follow the papers?? I think they forgot to put in a line for a bike, and moved them up 1. So the right weight for the Carbon 2 is 9.89, but I can't be sure.

Ah! That would make sense! I'd guess the Carbon 1 to be around 8.9-9.1 kg out of the box (with tubes, but without pedals).

my 2013 ultimate (large) was 8.64 out of the box (no pedals), with tubes.

i'm slowly making a number of changes. may post a thread on it. looking to go under 8kg (WITH pedals), without making sacrifices in durability.

i've got a pic after my first ride on my f29 tonight, but i haven't uploaded it to somewhere publicly-accessible.

it's a 2013 f29 that weighs 8 kg (perhaps 8.05 after i install the bottle cages)...and that is WITH an SRM. it is very much trail-worthy -- a bike to be ridden hard and raced, not just to be gazed upon.
