Hi all,

so here it is all finished (just need to get the pedals ordered...)

The saddle is set a little high maybe 5-10mm but I will adjust this after the first ride…

The weight as it stands is 6.8Kg so with the Keo Blade Ti's it should be pretty much 7Kg.

Hope you like it!!

Lig.

Usually i dont like Colnago bikes and Campy components, your bike, its a different story...i love it! From my point of view, stay with the black saddle.

Hmmm... I was wrong about the black saddle. Lesson to you, never do anything to please anyone but yourself :). And maybe you have. I still can't get past those red bars with black tape. But it confirms to me again that this particular frame (beautiful as it is) is very difficult to match up with complementary components. Seems to be crying for white saddle, white tape and the red bars are just an assault on the senses. Lot going on with the seatpost as well. I dunno. If you like it that's all that matters. I rode mine for a long time with the red spoked Fulcrum Racing Zeros before I decided it was hideous. Didn't you say you had some Deda Campione bars. They would be better IMO but then you'd have to give up on the whole "35" thing. Ride it for a while. Let things settle in your mind. But I really do like the 57 sloping frame. It's a "missing link" in the C59 sloping sizes.

Hi all and thanks for your comments.

I am going to stick with the white saddle, and i just like the red bars, its quite a 'bling' frame and I think the bars just match, but yes they are loud. I have black bars on my other two bikes and like this one to be different. If it was my only best bike then i would go with black bars and stem for sure. I wouldn't go with white bar tape as this would distract too much from the frame IMO. I am pleased with how the white painted head set looks and the white seat clamp.

Just need the sun to shine now!! Which i am sure will be a good few months away - but in the meantime I can continue to admire it.

Cheers guys,

Lig.

Those 35mm Deda bars are a bit too chunky (aesthetically).

How do they feel, to ride?

Hi Parlee2013,

I dont know because i havent ridden her yet! I dont think i will for the next few months, until the weather changes, however they feel great when sat on the bike. A really nice shape and just chunky enough. I like them a lot.

I will remember you and send you a ride report when I have ridden them...

Cheers,
Lig.

I still think the red bar choice is cool, but they are kinda big. I wish the bars were 31.8mm and had a smaller '35' logo.

Beautiful frame...agree on the 35 bar issue, too fat for that bike, maybe on aero weird frames, but here it just robs the frame some grace.

If it were mine, campy record seatpost, deda superleggera stem and bar with either saddle and tape relevant to saddle

Hope u can ride it soon! Congrats
