Tubularnator: Nice bike, you should put the QR front-down instead of straight down, looks better. And add the bike in Introduce yourself category, seems like a really nice bike and nice speced.

I've been using them for a while, I don't feel a diference with the Ti bolt-on that I was using before.

It's a skewer that gives little clamping force. My wheel is always slipping. Butted Ti axle is not recommended for skewer. It streches too much. I'm will be finding me another rear skewer.

I use the DC14 in my road bike and never had any problems.
In my MTB i use the Carbon-Ti QR's that's only 38g so the same weight and does the job for me.
Never had any problems with ti butted axle's. The front axle on my road bike is alloy and even that works for me.
I'm an 67kg XC/marathon, endurance road rider.
