Isaac Sonic - Limited Edition nr. 179
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Just finished putting this Isaac together. It'll be used as my second bike, especially when the weather is not so great.
I bought this bike this summer mounted with a Dura Ace 7800 groupset, but since I couldn't (or wouldn't?) get used to Shimano anymore, I decided to switch to a Sram groupset. Got the chance to buy some nice Dura Ace full carbon tubular wheels of someone working for the Rabobank team for a nice price to go with the frameset. Shot these pictures a few minutes after I finished this build.
Specifications of the build:
Frame - Isaac Sonic LTD. nr.179 full carbon 55,5cm
Fork - Isaac Sonic LTD. full carbon
Seatpost - Isaac Sonic LTD. carbon
Wheelset - Dura Ace 7850 C24-TU former Rabobank wheelset
Stem - 3T Arx Pro
Handelbar - 3T Ergonova Pro
Bar tape - Fizik Microtex
Crankset - Sram Red 172.5mm 53t/39t
Shifters - Sram Force Doubletap
Brakes - Sram Force
Brakepads - Reynolds cryo blue
Front derailleur - Sram Force
Rear derailleur - Sram Force
Cassette - Sram Force 11-25
Pedals - Speedsplay Zero Stainless
Saddle - Fizik Arione Wingflex
Bottlecages - Bontrager

just noticed your bmc-build: lovely bike as well, especially with the low-rim-wheelset.
any difference in riding-performance to your sonic? the sonic´s geometry seems to fit even better.

In two weeks (after bike fitting) I will own my blue Sonic nr. 305 with dura ace components. The bike store fitted this bike with silver look ultegra wheels, saddle, bottle holders and tape. May upgrade wheels later, bit liked the looks as it was. Cannot wait...
@Wouter, make sure you post some pictures of your bike here on the forum. Nice to see more LTD's!
I swapped the ugly bottlecages for Tune Wassertragers, much more clean looking now. I'll post some new pictures soon!

Here he is, my brand new Isaac Sonic Ltd.305...
It's a pity the sun was not out today, because the dark sparkly blue colour is really pretty in bright light.
At 7.9 kg I am not much of a weight weenie, but good enough for me. Buying lighter carbon wheels would save a lot of weight (bike and wallet), but these aluminium ultegra wheels are very stiff, 1730gr and match the blue / silver combination of this bike so well. If I lose two kg's myself, its just like riding a 5.9kg bicycle
Please let spring come soon...

Nice I was interested what it would look like with silver/grey saddle and bartape. I don't know any grey saddle I'm comfortable with though.
Here's a quick picture of mine, I'll create my own topic when everything is done. Opted for white/white for now and mounted my white wheels to see how it would look.
