the orders have arrived, nice weight savings.

Tune skewers, they did creak on the first few minutes and a heavy climb, but looks like its settled in, all quiet now

1.2g above advertised

Tune water bottle. Looks nice, it is see thru and the powerade i carry nicely matches the frame. However, the lock may not be perfect as some powerade residue did make its way to the frame. Not sure if it was my carelessness or the structure, well see next time. Again above its claimed weight. I think it was 65g claimed.

Ax-lightness endurance, suprisingly its comfortable! Its quite flexy on the wings and decent flex by the core. It's been quiet so far.
Nicely 0.9g under claimed weight.

The build has reached 6.8, now ill be tuning the RD - not too extremely, I still want to keep its looks.

Seatpost hasn't been cut yet, so some more to loose there, perhaps 30-50 g? Can anyone guess how much it would be?

After that, Ill be looking at bigger savings, chainset or wheels. D

Finally, a quick shot.

wow. that is outstanding. I had the lizard skin tape and it didn't last long at all. try fizik "gloss" black. it'll look awesome on an already incredible rig.

What kind of bars do you have on that R3 if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Canbakay

Congratulation on such a fantastic build, all the pictures are great to see. I am in the process of purchasing 65.1 to do a SR11 build with enve smart wheels and the same cockpit as you but I am struggling to decide which frame size to go with:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=110638" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm hoping you can help me if you have time to list the following:

Stem length and spacer height
Drop from the top of the saddle to BB
Crank length
Your height & inseam

Thanks in advance.

So the 404s were replaced with lightweights. The contis will be replaced with veloflex in the spring. The weight is with the garmin out front mount and there is a free 30g to lose once I have a bit more time.

the mount is slightly disappointing as it doesn't sit perfectly straight, has a small but annoying angle, this can be fixed with some DIY. very sturdy though!

useful brooks cover, helps protect the carbon when traveling/packing.

How did the frame weights compare on the 3 bikes?

a quick update - changed to the arione r1 white saddle and fizik microtex tape.

saddle came in at 144g

can't comment on the comfort yet, still need to get the perfect position but being so flat, it allows for nice movement. That was great for when on the drops and all the way on the front of the saddle.

bar tape, while it looks like it'll stay nice an clean for long, its not grippy, especially coming from lizard skins.

hi,

Sorry, saw this way late.
I was actually digging up the weights from my files but of course, the r3 was the lightest, followed by the dogma and madone. I should get them up soon.
