Can't say enough good stuff about this bike. The build is light yet not taking overt measures to reduce weight.
I hope my 2007 Trek Madone 5.9SL turns out looking half as good once I'm done stripping it.

900 grams difference between the Cosmic and the 32 setup...

You must use some heavy tubes and tires... :)

Hah yea that was pretty surprising to me too, I've got some pretty heavy wire bead training tires on the mavics right now and the wheels themselves came in over the claimed weight as well, but once I put some race worthy tires on them, the weight should drop down quite a bit.

Great build TVQ. That's some impressive reach you have.
Tell us more about the crank - I assume this is the latest generation Red w/ CT2 but what's your BB setup and total weight of the crank+bb? How's the shifting with the YAW derailleur?
Which semi-integrated headset are you running?
And I'm with Johnny, the '09 Addict is a great frame.

I know it does not fit everybody but I am great friend of -17 stems. If they can be further slammed ...love it.
I have "only" 120mm -17 but your 140mm adds points to this race machine.
Well done TVQgolf.

Because the brand is so mainstream, sometimes I think Scott was on the right track for many years but is now bereaved by the pro cycling climate and the lacking need for lighter weights. I think just about any frame with a prudent choice of (matching) components can hit 6.8kg today. Probably opening a broader topic, but this comes to mind since Scott discontinued this popular frame.
