Does anyone know if this frame is the top of the line Specialized Allez in the UK? I cant find another one above it but ive heard others talk about an S-Works Allez - i plan to sell the Tiagra groupset over time and put Dura Ace / Ultegra kit on it with campag zonda wheels

That one is the A1 aluminum frame. I think the E5 al frame is the top tier Allez. I don't know about international versions though, but I imagine that's available in the UK.

No we get shafted. The E5 Allez is not available as a complete bike or frameset. I was considering one, along with a CAAD10, but as who ever distributes these here will not sell frames, or in some cases complete bike models, I went with a Canyon Ultimate AL instead. I don't regret the choice.

Specialized doesn't take the UK market seriously.

It is what you get for trying to control America before the Revolutionary War.

yeah the A1 doesn't compare to the E5. If you can't get the hook up from someone over-seas you should look somewhere other than specialized.

Felt has a solid distributor in the UK. They have the F85 spec'd with tiagra for about $1000 USD or the FA frameset (BB30) for ~$850.
