how about CF bottle cage that is being molded on to the frame, gonna save weight on the bolts right?
In fact, since most bikes are also going towards being as aero as possible, shouldnt a molded bottle cage aid in that given that the bottle cage may be intergated into the frame.

Not primarily composites related, but a seatpost that can be height-adjusted on the move to a number of pre-settings would be interesting. Point being it's better to lower centre of gravity for descending.

A bar/stem combo, not necessarily one piece, with integrated brake levers and Di2/EPS buttons + interface. Something with a variety of hand positions which has more ergo shaped grips, not just a round section wrapped in tape.

A realy light 34.9 seatpost with setback without the outrageous price of the MCFK or AX-lightness products!

I'd second that. And add preferably one with a clamp that can be used with carbon rails.

Hi,

Such a big pipe is not going to make a bike comfortable, it just amplifies resonances too much at the wrong frequencies no matter how you make it.

Ciao, ;)

Scott is a firm believer that comfort must be integrated in the frame rather then in the seatpost. This because this way you should have also some comfort when standing. Also Scott mountainbikes are the best I have ridden so I take the seatpost size with. I don't like those flexy seatposts anyway because I find it a strange feeling when the seat moves under me. (My cannondale had a 27.2 seatpost)

My Smud carbon seatpost in 34.9 has more flex then a Ritchey, sadly he don't produce with setback.

Such a seatpost could be a hit because I know many Scott mtb users that would want a lighter option!
