160 mm for 72 g.

update.
i've ordered one of these Quaxar discs - not avaialble in able in 140 mm diameter :(

these look like they can be used with Formula R1 callipers (Hope SAW cannot due to the hollow rivet fouling the calliper)

Looks like ashima. I just bought a 180mm (112g). Hopefully it just needs to break in a bit. Not to happy with the performance but I have only been around the neighborhood with it.

ashima perhaps - seems they have 3 flavours: http://reviews.mtbr.com/ashima-2013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but not quite the same - I notice the disc in original post has "quaxar" stamped on it, a company that appears to make disc but googling has not so far found the one in the photo.

yep - is quaxar - see http://quaxarengineering.com/fluid/

arrived in the post today and was put on the scales immediately.

70g - unlike Hope SAW, it will work with Formula R1 callipers as the rivet clears the calliper. :D

won't be able to try it out until the weekend.

have to say the machined alloy carrier looks quite thin in places so I have to assume the manufacturer knows what they are doing .... :noidea:

1.7 mm, same thickness as Hope SAW lightweight. ("normal" discs tend to be 2.0 mm)

Took them out for a short spin on an hill near by just to bed it in - have one 160 mm rotor on the front and it stops ok - no worse than Hope SAW. With use it should get better but I am not expecting "pikc your teeth out of the tarmac" stopping power. I reckon I will be replacing the 160/140 KNC Razor I am using by a pair of these.

Does the two piece rotor assembly really offer that much of an advantage in reducing heat transfer? I ask because the Ashima Ai2 Air Rotors come in ~62-63 grams for the 160mm rotors. Kiind of topic drift, but I have also read some good comments about Shimano's icetech rotors but obviously these are definitely not 'ww' at ~105 grams for 160s.
