No I don't have the cutter piece and I don't see how the longer seattube can repaired and still look nice.

Is there any saddles out there that doesn't look shit?
Does any have the hight on e.g fizik arione?

Btw how much to you stretch your legs?
I stretch till I only have approx. 10• left.

This is an official product and solution from Look. It did not exist when 595's first came out, and perhaps not that many people know about it.

Quick attempt at some analysis:
Using Roark's formulas for stresses in a thin-walled tube (seatpost), with a concentrated radial load (seat clamp) at 2.5" from the end, all stresses due to the clamp have fallen to 1/100th of the stresses at the clamp when only .5" away from the clamp.

Perhaps a silly suggestion, but do you know your optimum seat height?

Perhaps what you think is optimum is actually to high? Could you try it lower and see how you get on?

Nope I don't to be honest, but that is my consideration as well if I can ride it lower without loosing anything.

Would you recommend it and how do I find my optimal hight?

I have an older Arione and it measures about 5.5, I don't know if they've changed over the years, I got mine in '07 or so.
