Get yourself the PMP ISP topper from Embrocation Cycling - it's much nicer than the one you have on there, and you don't need the full layback of the current one.

Biketart, did you got rid of one or two baums ? Or is it just my imagination when i think u had more baums in your signature ??

I googled gaulzetti and found an article out of embrocation magazine, seems that after a steady 14 years of carbon people are considering other materials again ?

I didn't "get rid" of any - my second one went back for a refund because it was built badly.

Seriously thinking on one of those PMP toppers. When's your Cazzo due in?

Pmp stuff is superbly made. I have their hubs and love them, not mega light, but they are well thought design and will outlive any other part of my bike.

More pictures are required, though I'm sure you haven't had time to take any since you're likely out riding this beast! 8)

Stem is on the short side, but its what I need fit-wise. More pictures to come, but though the weather in western PA has been nice for the season, I haven't had an opportunity for good (as good as iPhone pics can be) outdoor photos. In other news, this thing is an absolute rocketship. Stiff in all the right places, super smooth (though that's likely attributable to wheel/tire choice), and handles like a dream. A more complete report on the ride will come later, definitely after I've had a chance to race it, but preliminary observations are that everybody should try one of these before glossing over aluminum as a thing of the past. Only downside I can think of is the weight. As pictured and ridden, it weights 17lbs on the dot. Weird that I've gone from a 13.5 pound wonder bike a year ago to a no nonsense race bike.

The wheels are amazing, especially as they're the first I've built myself.

Can anyone provide the specs on the PMP topper? i.e.:
-Weight
-Minimum insertion
-Measurement from bottom to center of cradle

My interest is in the 34.9 model with 27mm setback and 40mm adjustment range. Questions posed to PMP directly, but no response yet. Their site is less than inspiring when it comes to product info...

I have the SB14 model - I can get you some answers based on that if you like?

Perfect! Thanks BikeTart.
I assume the set back options have no bearing on the overall length of the adaptor and/or the minimum insertion, so specs on the SB 14 would be helpful.
It seems that PMP have two models - one with a 20mm adjustment range and another with a 40mm range.
Let me know which one are you working with?
