I'm used to it now, it still isn't great but that is the nature of a touch screen. When I first went from the 705 to 800 I didn't think that I was going to be able to use it, but I had already sold my 705 so stuck with the 800.tomaz69 wrote:Do you really find it so "bad"? I'm deciding to buy one and this is my only fear buying 510. What do you think - should I go for 500?

Yes that pretty much sums it up... no quantum leap..

I am still waiting for mine
Yes I got my Edge 810 Wednesday morning in the mail. I'm really happy, and especially for auto upload works super well.

Had an 810 for a week. Essentially the same as the 800, with a few interface changes. The android app doesn't work, and it turn off the device as soon as you start it up. I got it to work first time, then not since.
The iPhone app works fine

It's not even beta testing this time, more like releasing an alpha version to the public.

Any comments on the live tracking feature: how fast does it eat the iphone battery during the rides etc.?

I'm cycling home from work, a trip of 25 minutes and my iPhone 4S used 4% battery. I did not notice how much power my 810 used.
