Where did you get the Garmin mount? I searched, but did only find E40,- mounts... pffff Do you have a better place to buy?

P.S. If you use both wheelsets... dont forget to change brake pads! Carbon rims do not like small alloy parts in the pads ;-)

Thank you for the kind words Pascal!

The Garmin mount is one of the Barfly brand mounts. When the came out earlier this year they were selling for $39 US but appear to be going down to a more realistic price ~ $20 considering just hard plastic.

Good advise w/ using exclusive brake pads- the Mavics SLRs have the exilith coating over aluminum but still plan to use separate pads from those used with my Ksyrium SL wheels. Will likely just keep the Ksyriums on the bike thru the winter and save the Cosmic SLRs for the blue sky days to minimize the brake pad swapping :) Happy Holidays!

Love that frame colour scheme. How do you find the shifting with the rotor crank and rings and a Campagnolo 11 group set?

Can't and won't vote, don't do Facebook.

I had rotor cranks and q rings on mine, front shifting no different than the campag one.

Lovely C50. But are you riding with the seat like that?

By the angle of the pic, it appears your saddle nose is sloping strongly downward. i think it's mostly an illusion.

Try to test the new hoods from the 11 speed groups. I prefer them by a large margin. If cost is a problem: I put the Chorus 11 speed shifters on a 10 speed Chorus group with a Jtek, it works perfect (as to be expected from Jtek!).

If you do go the 10 speed route I would advise you to look into shiftmate Campa 10-Shimano 9 so the wheels don't have to be upgraded and can be exchanged between the bikes. Campa 11-Shimano 9 seems to be unavailable.

the groupset on the c40 is a dura ace 7800 anyway, so i wouldn´t have to change the wheels at all. a friend of mine rides 10 speed record with shimano cassettes and has no problems with them.
as for the shifters i would very much prefer to have a complete 10 speed look...i don´t really like the looks of the new ergopowers (says the one with DA7800 horns)
