Ha! Must have been Foothill. Was up and down through there three or four times last week.

For those of you posting without locations designated in your user profile, could you at least post the location of your photos?

Well not far from the city of Athens in Greece. The mnt is named Parnitha, not exactly the alps but still a 1400m summit. Happy new year to everyone!

@ GAser
I visit Athens on business occasionally, whats the best way to get out of the city by bike if your hotel is not far from the Accropolis ?
Can you recommend a train destination from the city centre ?
Cheers

You need to take the train, probably from Omonia to Kifissia terminal, then ride about 5 km north to Varibobi. One of the nicest road rides from Varibobi to Katsimidi or alt a reach network of trails and fire roads around to the Vasilika area. PM me for more info if you wish.

Stop making me jealous..
The following photo is from yesterdays ride.
I was right on my way to take a KOM from Florian Vogel on the Etzel, when this happened:
It was impossible to continue riding as the road was one big ice rink..
