That's so great Damjan that you were able to find the frame of your dreams. And I can feel your enthusiam. It's infectious. Looking forward to seeing it all built up and hearing how you like it.

wow this is just awesome, congrats!

while most 10+ y.o. bikes look 'old', Madones and 5200/5500/5900 series seem getting even sexier with time. maybe it's not just about the bike with the memories they bring, but nonetheless - these are some serious pieces of road racing weaponery

your setup seems spot on with deda and DA seatpost, but going with some fancy-schmancy wheels.. :? ...this frame begs for Cosmic Carbones 8)

Yeah, Lightweights would be icing on the cake ;)

BTW, decide to polish Deda Newton stem and bars, similar to the Dura Ace seatpost finish

Looking really good!
I,d love to know what paint that is? The almost clear/grey nature of it is very appealing.

Good decision  it would look superb. Is it possible to paint clear lacquer on top of the polished items, for protection? I know polished alloy is very delicate.
Btw if you dont need your newtom stem anymore, i would be happy to take it of your hands :D It looks to be 120mm?

Yes, it is possible. Irongatsby told me that its actually not necesarry until you take care of it and polish it a bit from time to time.

You have a PM for the stem ;)

Yes, polished aluminum is relatively easy to maintain. You can apply automotive wax every once in a while to help protect it. IMO, the best part about a polished aluminum (or even stainless steel which is slightly darker) part is that you can always buff it out if you damage it!
