Garmin Edge 500 - 2013

Hi, looking for Edge 500 and want to know if anyone has an idea if this model will be changed for year 2013?

They don't change the models, if there was a change, it would be a new model.

There is an edge 900 coming out, but it's more like the 800 than 500.

on a side note does anyone know if they will eventually incorporate GLONASS? i have a etrex10 with GLONASS and the speed it finds satellites compared to my edge 500 is night and day! also im sure you wouldnt get the fluctuations on the speed readings when in the mountains or when in heavy forest areas as the extra satellites makes a much stronger and consistant signal. come on garmin we cyclists deserve the lastest technology too.

CES is in a few weeks. If they are going to have any new models for 2013 it should be announced then, I'm hoping for a 900 and a firm date on the power pedals.

There have been pictures of a new Garmin Edge 510 and 810 out there, including screenshots from the Garmin website. I'd hold off if you like what they're talking about -- mostly social media integration and stuff.
