Sorry probably overstating the "tuned " bit of the seatpost, I changed the steel bolt for a Ti bolt which saved 7g (14g standard steel, 7g gold ti bolt from probolt) and i cut off the excess length once i had the seatpost height worked out. Also all decals and clearcoat was removed with a razorblade and wetsanded with 1200 grit and them matte clearcoated. I put extra clearcoat around the seatpost clamp location so i could use a lightweight 6g MCFK carbon collar and not worry about seatpost slip.

Thanks! I was wondering if you found something on the clamp that I wasn't able to, but it looks like we're on the same page. :beerchug:

Great job on the stem too. I'm very hooked on one of those too. But I might use a "non-matte" clearcoat. And btw. Awesome bike.

Which Evo is that? It's an incredible weight. How much did you shed with the strip + clearcoat?

Will try and swipe someones camera for some better photos as i have only been using my smartphone.

Re: Evo model - It was a size 54 Evo 2 Red - ie: The black clearcoat with green accents. Not much weight was saved as I put 5 layers of matte clearcoat over the frame once i was done. About 10g off the frame.
