I have a colnago in saronie colors but I have never been happy with the the finish kit on it, I had an expensive fsa carbon post and had a few different dead stems on it but never really liked the look of it.
I looked for a nice stem/bar/post kit for ages but never saw really anything that appealed to me, if anything from italy it wold the 3t Carbon stem but although expensive the 3t stuff seems very common.

Than lurking around on the interweb today I purchased a zipp service course sl kit in stelt black, nice and easy on the eye, no needless lines or acronyms, I think I'm going to be quite happy with this !!(;

On top of that I found someone selling a super record 175 mm crankset brand new for the price of say alloy veloce, so I have that coming as well !!!!

Finally have the the kt and crancks that the frame deserves, boy, did Christmas came early this year ! (;

Michel2, congrats! It does sound like a winning kit. :up: Which model is it anyways?

BTW, pics, or nothing happened, as they say.

I thought you exited a corner like a pussy or something. Like the looks if the zipp, and definitely a colnago fan.

As promised, pics!(;
I came home yesterday And was very happy to see crancks pedals stem post and bars had arieved so straight at it. I did put the hole lot on the scale pedals were 194 for the set, stem 137 at 120 lenght seatpost shy of 300 gramm at 31.6. Bars.... I kinda forgot(:
I had a fsa carbon post wich is lighter and more comfy do the zipp post wont stay on their long.
Really like the bars and stem. I had a deda 215 on there this i supose slightly stiffer but the bars just suit me better, there staying !(;
I cant say i noticed any difference between these new sr crancks and my old record crancks: i must be lacking power !(;Image

Happy hollidays every one !(;
