Is that possible a Lightweight Rd on a Sram red 10 speed shifters. Cant find much info on net. Has anyone done this setup before. According to Lightweight handbook is only for shimano and campy. I assume sram are similar to shimano.

Anyone?

without reading any info in this Lightweight RD you speak of, I do know that Sram hss a different cable pull ratio than shimano and campy. as in a SRAM RD does not work with Shimano shifter and vice-a-versa

Sram cable pull is very different from Shimano.

You could use a Jtek shiftmate to match the cable pull but it would look inappropriate with a Lightweight derailleur.

Yes i have it running on campy for few years. Now planing to go sram, just would like to ask before i took out from the bike. If cant fit i wont do it and have to reinstall back to campy again.

But the Lightweight derailleur has triple the coolness...

Maybe i will just try to fix it with standard shifters and see how it works. If really not fit will change back to sram.

I think the actual pull ratios for the various derailleurs are something like:
SHimano 1.7:1
Campy 1.4:1
Sram 1.3:1

I'm a terror with a dremel, but I'd need at least 4 fingers before cutting into that thing.
