When you brake how close are the levers to the bar?

With the Hayes CX-5 I can adjust the throw to almost right as you touch the lever (pads not rubbing the rotor) or almost to the bar, pending on how you adjust the pads and cable to your feel on how much lever action you want to apply for braking. I’ve had the BB7’s before my opinion these are a lot better all around.

What size rotors are Crux disc owners running in the front? I'm building up a 2013 Crux Carbon Pro and I'm finding that I can't get a 160mm rotor into the caliper when I mount the Avid BB7 caliper directly in the post mount. This makes me suspect the fork is sized for a 140mm rotor. Guess I need an adapter from Avid to use the 160mm rotor?

You dont mount the bb7 directly to the fork. You must use the CPS washers. Two under and two over the caliper, per bolt.

Yes, the issue I describe above is with the the CPS washers in place. Do you know the answer to my question?
