I like this. Nude carbon always looks good.

Anyone know of any 54cm 5000,5200 or 5500 frames coming up? I would be interested.

Messed around a little with photoshop this morning trying to get a better idea of how a logo will look on my frame. I also toyed a bit with the idea of a red or dark blue logo as well as the white. Any thoughts?

What look are you trying for I guess is the questions. I personally would do something like gun metal grey or black. If the frame is going to be matt then go with gloss and if you are going to go gloss then go matt decals. With all the work to go nude, make the nude the focal point.

Have to agree with BmanX . If you do go for a bright colour then maybe use that colour in your build i.e. cables alu screws etc. I went for gloss black on my build . Looking good

So I sanded the Icon Air Rails fork and decided even though I was impressed with how good it looked I didnt want to mess with painting the crown to try to match the carbon. I bought this Cannondale Slice Premium full carbon fork on ebay for $80 to replace it. I probably should have asked beforehand but there shouldn't be any problem as long as they are both 1 1/8 straight steerers right? I'm not sure of the rake for either. The Cannondale is 62 grams lighter.

great project, i love those trek-frames in matt-appearance.

one question: how much did the frame weigh with the original colour ? Thanks!
