I couldn´t decide right colour so had to get two frames. Frames are 2012 models so no XR. Vacansoleil team frame is going to be my summer training/racing frame. Tricolore one is for those sunny and warm days. At least this is my plan at the moment.

Oltre Tricolore. Made for Pellizotti after his Italian RR Championship.

Build is going to be new Sram Red with Dura-ace C35 tubulars with logos removed. For brakes i´m thinking FSA K-Force or Red. Steering is going to be K-Force stem with SL-K compact bar.

And Vacansoleil Team. For this frame i´m going to useparts for my old frame. It´s going to get full Sram Force with SL-K cockpit. These parts i already have. Just waiting for some free time to get build done.

Better quality pics to come when some progress is made... :beerchug:

Edit: Oh and the weights...

Tricolore
Frame 55 cm 1021 g
Fork 378 g
Seatpost 201 g

Vacansoleil
Frame 55 cm 1025 g
Fork 376 g
Seatpost 199 g

And what do we find? Both framesets are bang on same weight... Go figure

Got a soft spot for Bianchi as a company and really like the Oltre. Both of these look great and having the tricolore is certainly nice. Congrats on both! I cant wait to see them built up!

I'd be unable to decide between the two as well. Really nice. Congrats! :)
Get a bicycle. You will certainly not regret it, if you live.

Both are beautiful frames but the tri color is the winner for me. That's a frame that would call to me.

My Tiricolore frame had a crack in driveside chainstay and rear wheel didn´t center in rear triangle. So this frame is going back to factory. Luckily Finlands importer told me that Bianchi is painting a set of Oltre XR frames in same Tircolore colour so i´m getting a new frame from that set. Saddly this will be somewhere february/march...

Arfter all Tri-colore frame was returned to factory and i cancelled my order. So only one Oltre at the moment.

This has been my racing bike for this year. It´s Sram force build with S975 Quarq. FSA energy stem wtih SL-K Compact handlebar. Wheels are FFWD F6 tubular with Vittoria SC tyres. Weight is 6870g.

This Alan is my training / bad weather bike. Build is as cheap as possible with Apex/rival. Zipp seatpost, stem and FSA Omega Compact hadlebar. Rival crankset are going to be replaced with 53/39 standard ring set. Wheels are 3T Accelero Pro with Powertap G3 rear hub. Weight is not so weenie 8020g

In winter time i´m going to replace Oltres Force with Force 22. So Alan gets Force upgrade soon.

Ps. Of crap! Sorry about blurry iPhone pic. Will take my SLR next time.

Shame about the Tricolore, would have been awesome as an XR.
