It's a tired old topic I know, but I thought I'd share with you an image of my Gangzhen GRZ014 track frame - and more importantly, the forks

It's available here: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/56826 ... tpost.html

But this is what it looks like now: http://pinterest.com/pin/215469163393631098/

Interesting way the headtube snapped - my chain broke, throwing my weight forward and that was enough to sheer the headtube in half.

It is difficult to tell from your photo but it looks like you only need a new fork to get up and riding again (mechanically speaking of course). And that the frame is still intact or did the head tube (of the frame) actually suffer any damage.

I checked the alibaba site and the frame mass is a stout 1600g, so perhaps the frame (more specifically, the head tube) is still okay?

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm a little cut up, but basically ok. Racing again in two days! And yes - the frame survived. So I'm putting a good quality fork in it and it'll be back on track.
