I once did a flex test, comparing Deda Newton 215 and Deda Newton 31.8 Shallow. Just twisting up an down from the drops and hoods, and pressing down heavily with both hands from the drops. The 215 felt horribly noodly in comparison, and I couldn't believe it was used by many pros... A 300g 3ttt Giro D´Italia handlebar from the seventies was noticeably stiffer when compared to Newton 215 also. So beware...

@bobek, thanks, but no Thompson. Deda only ;)

Thanks eurperg!! This means either Deda Newton 31 or Zero100 stem!

if i was you and couldn't decide, i'd probably order all of that deda stuff in all colours and then i would decide holding the parts to the frameset and see which combination fits best...

Well, I`ve got the black Deda Zero100 and Deda Newton 31 at home.
They are probabyl too long, but good enough to see which one goes well with the frame. And I know someone who has polished Deda ;)

There`s a new Cane Creek headset on the frame and I still got the black Chris King (with white letters) headset,
but I might need to replace the bearings on it.

Just got the eamil from the shop that they`ve recived my payment and they will ship the frame on monday! :beerchug:

I would go with a Cane Creek, smallest stack height and will highlight whichever stem you decide to use.
Personally I don't like big bulky headsets .IMO they take away the nice lines of the frame and fork .

I`ll see when I get the frame. But will probably stick with Cane Creek because it is new ;)

I could have it on Friday, but unfortunately I was at work and come home very late. And DPD doesnt call customers for delivery. Which is a mistake in my eyes.
So, I will get it tommorrow :D

Damjan, here's a pic of a Newton (Pista version, 90mm) stem that I de-anodized and hand polished. A polished road version should look amazing on your bike with the Shimano seatpost.

Wow
Thanks! I had a thought about it, but didnt think it can look so good!!
I must really reconsider if its worth to get that Dark Metal Deda parts...
This might look too perfect then ;)

Ditto on looking forward to the pics!
Isn't that really disappointing when your expecting something in the mail and you get a failed delivery attempt on a friday when you get home from work.
It sure makes for a long weekend. lol

Yes, it was. So I shortened the time with alcohol... Kidding ;)
Looks like I`ve done DPD an injustice... the seller forgot to write my phone number on the box...
Anyway, be ready for some pics at around 5 pm ;)
