The head of the UCI doesn't necessarily have to be a cyclist, but it would really help. The problem with putting a guy in charge who has never turned a wheel in anger is that you run the risk of having no empathy for the riders.

If you need an example of this in action, look no further than our beloved hockey. One of the problems here is that Bettman has never even played the game and has no empathy for the players (not saying that the players are innocent).

Fulcrum is a Campagnolo brand. SRAM on the other hand isn't.

That very big R-series must be Vansummerens, or? Bar type and angle like his at least.

The Garmin sharp bikes on that pictures still have shimano 10spd.

I think they're not a Shimano sponsored team, so buy their own groups.
