Yes, grab one while you can guys..
it's certainly a beautiful frame, the one and only Master you ever need :lol:

R&A has great customer service, got my C50 from them as well.

Cheers!

Hmm, the geo chart on R&A's website for the Master differs from Colnago's site (see head tube lengths). Was there a running change along the way, specifically for the Master Carbon? I always thought the Master's geometry remained the same throughout it's history.

Yes, that's the exact cage that I wanted but it's super rare. I found one recently but it's the 66mm version and not the regular size. There's one in 74mm diameter available - used, but seller refuses to ship to Japan. well.... :|

If he'll ship to the Uk, I'll help you out?

@bontie,

thanks for offering to help me out with the cage. I did some cosmetic 'modifcation' to the otherwise plain BTP cage, will post a picture this weekend when the sun is out with the LW Ventoux.
Sold the Campagnolo Hyperon about a month ago.

cheers!

@ahki,

thanks for the compliment.

haven't had much time to take a pic with the Ventoux, hopefully within the next few days.

will have to start riding this bike, it's been sitting idle for the past 3-4 months :oops:

Of all the bikes I've looked at on this site so far, this is my favourite

Here you go, with LW Ventoux.
Bear with me. Picture quality seems pathetic, horrible background as well. I'm going hunt around looking for better gold colored decals. the current one is a shade too dark for a proper match.

Cheers and have a great Christmas to all fellow WW!

@majklnajt

I know, it's never easy to please you, haha. Still preferring the LW Std as oppose to the Ventoux?

Great topic! I have a weakness for black-and-gold (not even a smoker! F1 fans will understand :mrgreen: ) and this bike is no exception, really stunning. :thumbup:

I took a short cut, wrap a small part of the bars with Japan made, faux carbon sheet :mrgreen:

This sounds interesting, I'm considering doing the same to make a white handlebar appear black. I can get a good deal on a white Presa but I don't like white bars. Does it hold up? Do you use the taped area close to the stem when riding? I do.. And don't you need extra torque on the clamping area because the gritty part is less effective when taped?

@LVGH,

The taped area holds up pretty well. I don't need additional torque, though I would recommend that you use some friction paste (or carbon paste if it matters) for an increase in grip between both interface.
However, there's always a risk involved, things may fail and as an engineer myself this is not the right way. Therefore please consider the above advice with a pinch of salt.

Cheers and ride safe!
