I am trying to figure out what size frame I need.

My old one was a Scott Scale from 2009. Size L. According to the geometry chart, the horizontal top tube length of that frame is 600 mm.

I am currently looking at two 29ers; Specialized Stumpjumper and Canyon Grand Canyon CF SLX 29. I can't figure out whether I should go for a size large or medium. I'd be happy if some of you could tell me what size bikes you ride if you are the same height as I am.

Inseam: 87 cm
Trunk: 64 cm
Forearm: 34 cm
Arm: 67 cm
Thigh: 60 cm
Lower Leg: 54 cm
Sternal Notch: 148 cm
Total Body Height: 180 cm

I'm leaning towards the large.

Thanks.

What about frames in size 18.5"? Trek did them once, no? I can't seem to find any now though (looking at the SL models).

I would vote Large (19 in) too. I am 185 and the seatpost minimum insertion mark is saying I am close to the limit. If you favour a smaller frame them Medium would just about do.
