I have the RS80s and can attest to their stiffness. They are definitely a great wheelset and worth much more than their going price IMHO.

the zeros are indeed very stiff and roll very beautifully. they do however make you feel cross winds thanks to the spoke shapes.

Thanks for all your input. Since I'm not any closer in deciding between the 3, i'll just get zonda's as they are $100 cheaper.

I would've loved to buy some shamal/racing zero/c24 however this money is coming out of what I had set for a power meter. Besides if i get dropped/lose a race it won't be wheels' fault.

Don't go for Zonda's if you ride Shimano! Buy Fulcrum instead. If you ride Campi, the Zonda's are also very good choice. Good luck.

Would there be any performance reasons for that? Or purely aesthetics?

caad9 - purely aesthetic.

In the campag range the Zondas and Neutrons are best IMO ... steel spokes, comfort, decent weight ... Zondas are much cheaper however, and a bit lighter.

The new Quattros are interesting.

Zondas beat F3s as the latter have fat spokes

Stiffness is decent if not great. same as the rest really.

purely aesthetics and also the fact that imho it is not done to mix shimano and campi on a bike.
