Overall Ultegra Di2 6770 topic
New version of the software is up . Support for 9070, Alfine and a new feature for 6770.
You can now program multishift!
Choose on or off. If on, you can choose a limit of 2, 3 or no limit for the number of gears (ie you can do the whole cassette with one press of a shift button with no limit) and then 5 speeds (very slow, slow, normal, fast and very fast). Have it set to very fast, feels very similar to Campy EPS speed.

Just got back from the first ride. Very fast is faster than EPS, it took a little to get used to it, but now its super intuitive. Paired with the satellite shifter, its awesome. Now I just need to try out two satellite shifters: one for the fd and one for the rd.

Thanks for updating us! I may have to shell out for the system checker to be able to modify this. It wasn't worth it to me before, but between this and the firmware updates I might have to bite the bullet.
First post on the forum... and excited to see the new di2 software, especially after checking out the EPS electronic! Now I just need to buy my bike ;D Debating between new Trek Madone 5.2/5.9 with Ultegra di2 or used BMC SLR01 with Ultegra di2... This will be my first road bike!
Very interesting...
- How do you upgrade the system? I need the SM-PCE1
- Is it a hacked or legit Shimano firmware update? E-Tube Project
- Are there different updates, regarding which part of the world you are living in?

To update the system, you need the SM-PCE1 device.
With SM-PCE1, there is no way Shimano can know where you live and currently there seems to be no way to install 3rd party or hacked firmware.

Okay... so if I buy the SM-PCE1 device, and tune in on E-Tubes homepage, I should be able to update.
Main reason for this is, to change to the multiple shift option - and of course get all the other benefits, e.g. battery life saving.
