Inspired by the previous sticker design, and exploiting my jersey Gimp files, what do folks think?

sweet!

I'd like a few stickers with just "weight Weenies" as well.

Cool, when you guys have settled on something, I can get these printed in Hong Kong for very good quality and not costing a fortune like in Europe or N. America. I assume they are meant to be vinyl stickers to stick on to frames, etc? :D

Should be lightweight clear stock. Issue with clear is you need white ink, which most printers might not have. I'm thinking a combination of the "certified" sticker and a generic weightweenies sticker.

WRT multiple weight thresholds (one of which would <i>have</i> to be 6.8, which is the most significant value) is the sticker goes on the frame, and weight varies with wheel selection or perhaps saddle selection. My bike is only under 5.0 with my climbing wheels, for example. So getting "fine detail" might not make sense.

The thing I like about "<6.8" in particular is it's an "in your face" against the UCI. Hopefully that will change relatively soon as manufacturers put pressure on the UCI to create demand for their sub-6kg builds.

I'll double check with the printers I usually use but I'm sure they print on to clear vinyl by default (and thus have to use white basecoat to allow colours to show accurately). So I guess these sticker will be approximately 1 to 2 inches squared? I wonder if they'll have weight-weenie zero-weight vinyl? ;)

The current concept already suits my likes very nicely. You can count me in for a order. A sticker with only the magical words: "weightweenies" and/or "I hate 6,8" would be cool as well.

Thanks!

I've not printed it myself, since I'd need to find a printer with white ink. But surely I can find someone....

Weird: this particular thread seems to be spam bait.

I suppose nothing happened. I just proposed a design, but I don't have time for printing and distributing, unfortunately.

Care to make it available? I've been able to print the old design on clear mailing labels with an ink-jet and cut them out. They look great, until they get wet...
