Not a current pro, but the road club I used to ride with has Graeme Obree as a member and I have been lucky enough to ride with him a few times over the years. Great guy to talk to, and just an all round nice guy!

Come to think of it, Hincapie was neither formally announced nor wore a race number so his participation was pretty incognito. More pics of the GF:

I rode with all of these riders just no pictures while riding. We were mountain biking on Treks private trails.
JHK and Heather Irmiger
Gary Fisher
Didn't ride with him but Chris Lieto
Aaron Gwin
All these folks were on the ride. Top row from left- Ricky Carmichael, Katie F'n Compton, JHK, Rich Houserman, and Aaron Gwin. Front row- Anton Cooper, and Heather Irmiger.

Gatis Smukulis (Katusha) on the top spot with some UCI Cont riders along. I'm with the red shoes.

I dont think I have ever seen someone roll up their long sleeve jersey, I need to remember that one. I used to have one cut off at the elbow.
HUMP
Why are the best things in life always the ones you start last?
A friend and I took Jeremy Powers on a nice wet training ride in between Czech CX world cups this year, after chatting briefly before his race in Tabor.
An almost unbelievably friendly guy. Thanking us profusely for a nice guided scenic fall ride from his hotel in Prague.
And even rolled back to chat with me while I was creeping up the last couple of head-windy climbs of the day, and complimenting my friend on being such a strong rider.
Very cool.

Forgot about riding with Powers, did a cross camp with him in Cincinnati this fall. Hung out and chatted with him quite a bit. Super cool down to earth guy.
Roobay - I'd ask what the 'UP' was for, but I'm reckon I already know

I rode with Ted King and Jim Ochowicz this morning. No photos I'm afraid. Was a fast group ride.

Ha! No. I didn't know who the older guy riding next to me in the full BMC kit on the BMC TeamMachine was at the time. Asked him if he was a super fan of BMC or somehow involved in the team. Told me he was the co-owner and manager. Whoops.
Dude is still damn strong on the bike.
