I am 183cm with a 85cm inseam, and looking at the geometry chart for the Cento1SR, it looks like I would be riding on a XL as well. So I wouldn't say XL is necessarily too big for someone 182cm tall.

As usual, a beautiful bike from Wilier. While I am still trying to get used to the looks of the Zero7, this thing comes along which doesn't require any getting used to. The colors are loud but in a cool way. Absolutely love it.

BTW, I am just a bit curious about Wilier's lineup though. First a Zero7, which supposedly is a 7XXg frame, and then this 12XXg one, both quite a bit different in style? Maybe a new designer?

It does seem odd. Guess they consider the SR an aero race bike and the Zero7 a weight weenie race bike? Technically, a lighter bike should be more appropriate for my strengths. The Zero7/9 just doesn't get me excited at all.

Hello again
so you are over 6 feet tall (185cm) and a 34 1/2 (88cm) inseam! Are you sure about these numbers?
I am 182cm tall and have an inseam of 86cm and my LBS is recommending me to go with the XL frame, not the Large like yours!!.

Yeah, I'm a hair under 6'1". Got the inseam off the info from the last time I got fitted, a year or two back.

Bet I'd also fit on the XL with a shorter stem. Went with Large since I specifically wanted a more aggressive fit then my last few bikes.

Funny, I noticed the Bond-Maratec strap and was wondering the same thing myself...5508, 5512 or maybe a 5514-17...

Nice bike, nice strap!

Well that bike stands out. It stands out so much I only think I like it. It think I do it just so bright.

I think I do like it really.

Very nice  Willier could go quite a bit lighter with their forks?

While 400g for a carbon steer tube fork seems excessive, I can confirm this bike is super stiff feeling when out of the saddle. Probably a coloration there.

And they claim it's aero. :noidea:

Nothing so interesting. Just an Omega Planet Ocean. I've had it for six years now and am a bit tired of it. I'd replace it but keep blowing my toy budget on bike stuff!

Thanks all.

Two big clubs in my area with active Elite 3 teams. Have friends in both. The one I was on before was focused on crits while the new team has a more flexible program.

That and the new team's kits are both higher quality (Pearl Izumi PRO Series vs Voler) and better looking.

There is no such thing as an elite 3 team, because if they truly were elite they would be 1s or 2s.

Okay. Elite 3 is commonly used around here to refer to the open, non masters, category three field.

I know, need to do something about that.
