I have the Colnago original 50 gr expander:

And I wonder if there would be a safety issue to install this instead:

So what do you think? Is it worth the 25 grams saving ?

You need to make sure that outside diameter of the plug is small to fit into the fork. Colnago forks have thick walls on the steer tube. I believe that Extralite does not fit Colnago forks.

I use Tune Gum Gum on my C59 without any issues.

I am reconsidering a FRM expander. Since FRM don't answer my e-mails I wonder if anyone here knows what diameter i requires? My fork is about 22,5 - 23mm.

I do not want the Gumgum. I want FRM. If possible.

It's 22 mm according to FRM.
