It's very unfortunate and sad but hopefully this will lead to drivers being more aware of cyclists on the roads. I also hope the police take more interest in car/bike incidents. When I was hit by a driver turning left, I filed a report but the police just didn't care. The driver didn't really care until I told her I wasn't even 18.
