Fab work Jure. Truly truly inspirational. Appreciate that frame building is your main focus but Have you ever considered other saddle combos. I would kill for an aliante one! Mods is there not room for a framebuilding/mods/member manufactured parts heading on WW , guys like Jure and tilchrist deserve thier own space surely? Appreciate it may not be as easy as i think to do this....i am naive where the web and associated code is concerned.

Well somehow I really love new projects and that's why I'm working on new and new frame projects.
Regarding the saddle combos - I make them on order, will also soon publish a pricelist for it for all thos ewho are interested. For the saddle shape, basicly I could make anything, but I would need a saddle like that and then I can make a similar saddle. So if you have a saddle like you would like, and that won't be used anymore, you can send it to me instead of throw it in the trash. Then it would take me some time, but I could make a similar saddle shell and then of course also a combo.
Otherwise I think that's a good idea, there are some more builders here on forum that would probably share some of their projects, also for some non-carbon parts like Mattias Hellore etc., and I'm sure that there would be even more projects to share. So probably it would be interesting, but I really don't know if it would be possible.

Some more teasers
*the hole is of course too big, we still have to finish a few details..
It's not finished yet, but anyway...we have to design the dropouts and some smaller details, but otherwise it will look like on the pictures above..as soon as the design will be finished I'll post a photo of the complete frame.

Jure, I would like to know what you are going to do about the cable stops. Right now this frame looks amazing but I think depending on how you do the cable stops, you could ruin the look of this amazing frame. Any ideas on cable stops and how you are going to run them.
BIG DADDY B FLOW
AERO & LIGHT is RIGHT for 2 decades

It depends, both internal and external would be possible. External with some basic cablestops, internal with some inserts in the moulds that would make the groove for the cablestop for the internal routing. Simple as that
First I'll just make a "L" frame for myself and will then see how to continue. Otherwise the frame will be with UD layup (on those pictures it's twill).

Thanks for the compliments
Yes, I started with my own small company registred for "Development of carbon fiber parts".
So I'm able to make some custom parts on order. I'm a student, but ayway decided to start with my own small company and it's no problem for me to make a few parts per month. I'll soon get also a webpage etc., where there will be some more informations, also regarding the prices. So if you would be interested for a custom part just let me know, you can contact me.

I wonder if on your next frame, you could use an integrated seatmast with a saddle bonded on.
Save weight from the isp and from the saddle combo.
ultimate integration and weight savings.
you would need to have your position dialed.

Yes also that would be possible and I'll make the moulds with a longer seatpost tube, so it would be possible also to integrate a saddle or use a stubby. It would be really nice to make it again with an integrated saddle like I made PT3

Hi,
here just one photo from a few days ago, PT5 in process. Sorry for the bad photo quality, right now I can't really make another better photo because water is all around, we have some floods in Slovenia and a lof of rain these days...
As you can see on this photo still some more sanding to do. Then I only need to cut the seatpost tube a bit, put on some cable stops and lacquer it. If I'm honest I didn't decided yet how I'll make it, but when I look at my PT4 I think that I'll just keep that look from PT4, and put some stickers over the clear coat. That way I can change them any time I want, and as long as it's a prototype, why not . Otherwise I could also paint it, will see how I'll decide...
..anyway, also the rainy days have a good side , and there can be done some more work in SolidWorks:
still some more work to do, but just to show you how it should look. It's for BB30 press-fit bearings,..will make some other pictures from different angles as soon as the frame is completely designed
As you can see from those SolidWorks pictures I keep my design, only a bit improved it because the monocoque procedure allows me that. So the tubes have a slightly different shape (especialy when it meets the joint) etc.,..

Definition of bicycle porn Berk.
On other news, in my opinion paint that bad boy something bright... Lampre pink (or a neon version of it) springs to mind. As good as stealth black is, you build bikes differently to other people, and therefore I think your frames should be displayed differently. Not 'hidden' behind a shadow of black, something that turns heads because it screams badass... Bright, loud and hot.

I guess there's worse hobbies than making a bike light? Right?
