I guess when SRAM ask to buy your shares back...

Would have been funnier to see him on Campag, but I'm glad he didn't.

Nic would know since he's a member of the forum and (most likely) sold it to Lance.

It appears though that since he [Lance] is no longer pro he doesn't need to slam is stem to the headtube.

he didn't even slam in 2005 either...

if he just slammed his stem he wouldn't need to dope to compensate for steerer tube height. :smartass:
Slam your stem.

Lance obviously likes big frames. As we know he's a big guy with long legs yet riding with not too much seat tube showing. That bike doesn't seem to fit him too well.

He's not a very big guy actually - isn't he about 5'10"? Big frames yes, IIRC correctly he rode 58cm Madones (or equivalent) which is large for that height yes. Most pros that height would be on 54s I'd guess.

I always thought he could have rode a smaller frame , but 7 tours wins doped or not you can't really say his set up was wrong . Be interesting to get the Crumpy frame specs .

That 2005 frame fit is "old-skool". The trend of riding smaller frames is only relatively recent (10 years).

Now this fit simply looks terrible:
Can't he sort his equipment out?

I had never heard of 'Octomom' and I wish I could go back to not knowing... :scared:

You can't judge position from a single shot.

In any case, spacers aside, excellent taste by Mr. Armstrong, despite his flaws.

As someone who doesn't support the concept of "slam that stem" without merit of fit, I'd like to note that my original comment was made in complete sarcasm. I should have added the closing sarcasm tag </sarcasm>. Sorry I left that off.

No doubt Crumpton is a cool brand but Lance's choice here, I would say, is more about not being associated with a high profile brand that sponsors a pro team.
