Just checking up on the weight of the double FC-M785- anyone here have actual weights?

Upgrading my girls mtb cranks from the heavy FC-M542's and want to see what sort of weight savings can be achieved. I would also consider the FC-M985 XTR double if there is a reasonable weight reduction.

FC-M542- 960 g with BB (I believe)
FC-M785 XT double -740g (Competitive Cyclist listed weight, BB included or excluded?) EDIT- Bike24 list these as 810g with BB which is less impressive...
FC-M985 XTR double 'Race'- 629g (Competitive Cyclist listed weight, BB included or excluded?)

So best case scenario that's a 331 g reduction if you go from M542 to XTR, sounds good right?

EDIT- May have just answered my own question, found this: http://www.birota.ru/files/news/2010/xtr-weight.pdf
So XTR FC-M985 is 715g

Making best case scenario 245g.

Thoughts on this being a good area to reduce weight?

I understand that the XT double (and bash) uses a thicker axle than the triple, so if you are WW it start with a triple even if you intend to bash it......plus the Shimano bash is very heavy, circa 150g
