I rode a double century a few weeks ago and I noticed a rider that had the FSA Plasma bar. He had his Garmin mounted out up front, so I asked he what mount he had. He told me it was a Bar Fly. He said there was just enough "give" to wrap it around the bar. I'm not sure he knew what he had because last I checked, that Bar Fly wasnt going around anything that wasnt round.

I have never tried our mounts around a none round bar but it maybe possible, the nylon does flex well so it could work. All of our mounts have the garmin sat inline with the bars rather than up on top so if it was one of ours that would be the biggest give away over a barfly mount that sits the Garmin much higher above the bars.

Just to say I was contacted by racewaredirect about my incident and have to say I'm pleased with the outcome.

They have promised to replace all my earlier mounts with the latest stronger version. I'm still of course upset about losing my edge 800 but It comes with the game as they say.

Are there any mounts available for the FSA Plasma bar? I'm not crazy about the FSA supplied mount.
Myself and a couple others have asked this same question and the guy from RWD has made a couple prototypes but as integrated bars are more of a niche market, there has not been much progress in the past month.

I have an update atlast for those of you who want an integrated mount. Please see attached pictures. It is now strong enough and works with a 500 on Cinelli RAM bars but yet to be tested on anything else. If anyone is interested I can post up a detailed dimensioned picture to see if it will fit specific bars.

Thanks. What is the offset of the top of the garmin mount from the top of the mounting bar?

Sure looks like that will work with FSA's Plasma on their hole pattern.
I'm very interested to see.

If any of you would like to buy one then please email me direct at sales@racewaredirect.co.uk so I can discuss your order and make sure it will work with your set up. They will not be on the website until I have tested a few other bars out to check how universal the fitting is.

Regards,

Martyn

Anyone fancy a mount in Neon colours?

It took a while but finally found a way to get a proper neon finish.
