Anyone have a confirmed (or claimed) weight of the 2013 Ridley X-Night with integrated seatmast? Also a fork weight would be helpful. I am trying to decide between the X-Night and Specialized s-works.

While I don't have a direct answer, keep in mind that for 2013, Ridley focused most of its CX updates on the X-Fire disc so other than a color change, the X-Night has had no other changes from the 2012 model.

Looking at the geo charts, they're very close except for height. The Ridley head tube and stack are almost an inch taller. That's an extra inch you have to jump to remount, and it's due to Ridley's super high bottom bracket. Great if you use your CX bike as a mountain bike, not as great if your CX courses have corners ATMO.

High BB is good for pedaling through corners, and bunny hopping
Finally found claimed weight of ridley frame 1280 grams, pf30. Not crazy light, but such a sweet frame.
Stiffness is off the charts and full internal routing is a big consideration.
Probably gonna go with the Ridley.
I also really like the spec of the top end Ridley, with carbon tubulars meaning no upgrades necessary fro race worthiness.
Claimed weight as built with reynolds 46 tubs (1263 g) and sram red/force minus slk crank, wcs cockpit and 250 g seat is 16.02 lbs w/o pedals. IMO this is darn light for a cx bike. Carbon cockpit and super weenie crank and cassette would drop below 16 with pedals.
