Anyone done this recently?
Is there a faster way to do it than just sanding only?
Any chemical strippers that are safe/work well with
carbon fiber?
If any that have done this would share some of their
experience from the job, would be a learning benefit
for quite a few others I'm sure.

Carbo-lift is the product Americans use. Us NZ or Aus lads use "polystripper".
Updated: Racing again! Thought this was unlikely! Eventually, I may even have a decent race!
Edit: 2015: darn near won the best South Island series (got second in age
-group)..woo hoo Racy Theremery is back!!

Have you tried using Carbolift.I think that's the best way to go as paint strippers might interact with the resins that holds the fiber parts together.
