Ah, I thought it is about having the stem as close to the upper edge of the headtube......

I just took delivery of a 5 mm Acros headset cover for my Canyon

The bearing adjustment mechanism under the stem is than replaced by a system a la Cannondale

BTW, a Canyon in the US ?

That's exactly what I need as even with a -17 120mm it still feels too high somehow. How much is it for this headset cover? Do you have any pictures of it on your bike?

On my current bike I'm using longer reach classic bend bars instead of compact shape, so the hoods are at the same height but the tops and are about 20mm higher. Much better that way IMO.
