Last year I raced Tri's and had some fun, had a tribe of bikes (Specialized Allez, Transition, and a Felt Breed). After a couple races I found that no matter how fast you swim and bike, if you can't run your screwed. So I sold off all the bikes and started my dream bike build for Road Racing and Crit's next year.

After lurking on here for a little while and gaining confindence that this is not to big of a project to take on in just one offseason. I ordered up my carbo-lift (huge undertaking in it's own), and bartered up a paint job. So next week the bike is getting stripped down. Paint is going to be a matte clear, and the gloss black logo's arrived today in the mail. I will pull weights off when it gets stripped down. I know in it's current set-up it's sitting around 7.5kg to 8k
I am going to swap the bar and stem out for Beyond Black Service Course (will slam and cut at the same time now that I have my position set). This will be the best fit for my needs doing crit's next year so I have a little bit more crash protection. Same with the Zipp's. With the old Alu braking surface I sould be able to keep some crash protection, and have the stopping power I worry about with full carbon clinchers. After that it's small parts.
Also worked out a trade for a TT bike. So I will have my hands on a Giant Trinity SL build soon also.
