On the road today...

Kjetil: It's a lap called Saltenfjorden rundt. Also done in Midnattsolrittet (although 20 km shorter in the race). In my opinion the course is one of the more beautiful one can do in Norway, but as a Bodø native I have a slight bias The climb to Ljøsenhammeren is also a pretty tough one, especially in a race. There's a couple of false flats and the first two or three times you do it you'll think you've reached the peak several times before actually doing it
Here it is on the map: http://app.strava.com/rides/24896930
EKIMIKE: Thanks for the compliments. The clarity of the air and the light is awesome this time of the year. If I had some proper photo equipment I'd be out there shooting lots of pictures.
Willier: It's the Gabba (GO GABBA!) long sleeve. Wind proof and water repellent. Side panels are made with nanoflex for even more breathability and water repellency. IMO a great jacket in cold and windy conditions, and it handles pretty well in light rain or with lots of road spray. It also comes in a short sleeve version and in a long sleeve (without vents) but with detachable sleeves to leave you with a vest as an alternative.

That's super!
@djm: Thanks. I was letting myself be fooled by your usual Rye kit, thinking Romsdal or something closer to "home". Salten is beautiful, but I've only had the chance to see it from the sea.

Probably my first time up Topanga in 18 months. Had a nice ride, and felt it went ok considering it's my 5th ride since deployment.
View from PCH pedestrian bridge:
Spooky time
From the front
Beach
Nothing from inside the canyon since it was so overcast. Couldn't see much anyway. Here's the ride data if anyone is interested:

Jealous
Thanks! Being from NH I'm not sure I'd go back anytime soon. This bike continues to rock everyday.

Me jealous too!! Topanga is a beautiful ride. Latigo is also fantastic if you ride a bit further down PCH.

Mountain ride today. I had limited time so I did th elower half of the Jedi trail, then the Goat trail, then the Horse trail.
Self portrait. I am the Fred of mountainbiking hah.
I guess there was a fire here recently because a huge section was burnt out.
The Santa Monicas
Right before a fun descent. I thought it was neat the way the clouds just stopped.
Two Garmin files because I suck at using technology.
