With or without kids? With kids, the trailer weight is around the 70-75lb range. Without, it is around 32lbs.
It definitely makes you work much harder on the uphills, and it also exaggerates your pedaling inefficiencies since it tugs a little bit while hammering.

Recently has hit by a car. My bike is no longer. Big bummer. I think I'll be upgrading to the new G6 and DA9000, but we'll see.

Good luck! This shit is awful cleaning up the mess with insurance.
Lawyer up and get a good estimate from a reputable shop for the value of the bike ASAP. And if the driver's insurer is Allstate, go in knowing they are assholes and will try to screw you every which way. They told me that since my scarring wasn't "disfiguring" that they would not compensate - and that the broken wrist wasn't displaced so would be worth very little value (though I had to have xrays every week to monitor it as it had a better chance of displacing than not) - and that the pissing blood due to damage to the kidney healed so again worthless - and the damage to the ribs, connective tissue and cartilage was inconsequential since nothing was actually "broken" - and concussions are completely recoverable so that's that...
Their corporate policy is to "delay, deny, and defend." They lowball knowing that an overwhelming majority of people do not want to go through the court system which could take several additional years. I'm sure other insurance company's are similar so just some "heads-up" from someone going through it myself at the moment.
I'm still dealing with them after 18 months! And now since they are completely unwilling to negotiate any reasonable settlement, it may take another three years...
cheers and heal up!

Hope you are ok.
Respect to you in that collision, as that car got nailed more than your bike. One hard ba&&&rd!
Nice build. Did the wheels survive?

Don't forget, we haven't seen his body yet; that's what caused the damage to the car.
Stunning - so sorry and I hope you are healing well.

Well it's good that you're still around to talk about it. I gather from your last post, reading between the lines, that you wont be riding for a while.
I hope your injuries aren't too serious.
