My Project One Trek Madone 7 Series just came in. I'll update this post as I get in ride time, and as the build completes. Right now, with pedals (but without bar tape or bottle cages), it weighs in at:

14.62 pounds.

That's with a SRAM Red build, 53/39 Quarq power cranks, 11-28 cassette, Bontrager brakes, ENVE SES 3.4 Smart Carbon Clinchers, Time iClic Pedals, 3T Ergonova Carbon LTD bars and a Fizik Antares VS Saddle.



I'm thinking sub-15 with bar tape and cages. With a power crank. And carbon clincher wheels.

Again, I'll get better pics up and ride reviews over the coming days. Thank you, NCC.

I could use $10-15k about now. I don't even need new wheels;-)

So....how does it ride?

I have ordered one and am now waiting (58-72 days) before delivery to Aus. (project one - non-standard paint). I tested one at a ride day and could not believe how smooth it was. The ride was short, but I am keen to hear others' opinions.

A side question - how accurate were Trek with the delivery date?

Trek's delivery date was spot on.

Great build! It really looks amazing. I'll probably be getting one of these on a team order over the winter so this just has me drooling. Have fun with it!
