Hi there, just wanted to share my new bike I just finished building! A little bit about myself... Im 21 y/o, Ive been riding/racing for 4 years. I had my 2012 S-Works SL4 stolen from my house 5 months ago. I spent the last 4 months sharing a bike with my dad until all of the parts came in for my new bike. It was definitely worth the wait!

I rode it for the first time yesterday for an easy hour and a half ride with my dad. Ill start with my first impression of the new DA 9000... I could not believe how easy the front shifting was! The best way to describe it is effortless! I had 7900 on my last bike and 9000 blows 7900 away. The rear shifting is also improved. The hoods feel very good. They are a little different shape than Di2 but not very much. The brake levers have a nice feel, similar to Di2 and seem to have a easier pull than 7900. Tomorrow Ill do a longer/faster pace ride to get a better impression of everything. Overall the bike felt very snappy/responsive when putting power down. Ill share more after I get more time on it.

Nice nice nice! Think you're one of the earliest to have the 9000 here?

Btw, if you father bought this bike for you, then I wanna see your father's bike(s)..

I know someone at shimano who pulled a few strings to get it so early. Haha no i bought it and my dad upgraded from a 2010 Tarmac expert to a 2012 Specialized SL4 Pro Ultegra Di2 since his bike was stolen too. The homeowners insurance definitely took care of us!

That's one sweet ride young sir. Extra home security required for that, it's stunning

Very nice bike. I'm sure it rides like a dream :D

Not to be an arse, but I don't think DuraAce looks that good with the matte black components. That's properly just me.

Awsome bike nevertheless.

Mate has the same SL4, saw it in the flesh yesterday. Absolute winner!

Spec have hit a home run on this scheme.
