Hi

Has anyone of you any experience with removing the logo of a Stronglight CT 2 Time Trial chain ring?

I am going to continue the stealth theme on my new tri bike - whenever Canyon will deliver. And there is a little TOO much going on with the CT 2 TT chain ring.

Acetone might do the trick? Or is the logo stamped/etched in there?

I would imagine that the logo is etched but I could be wrong. If you want to go stealth and all black I might just know of a chainring..........

You could always fill in the graphics with a black permanent marker. Would make it at least a bit more subtle.

I need to remove the "Lance Armstrong Foundation" sticker from my commuter bike. Completely off topic.....

Anyway, markers aren't sufficiently opaque. That's the "pro team" thing to do because it's good enough for long-range photographs, but not so good for close inspection.

Markers also go a funny anodized colour sort or purple/blue.. If they wont sand off with fine paper then just take them off and spray , easy peasy .
