Check out this link, Firefly built a bike with a Rotor crankset, and according to the builder they used matte black paint. What kind of paint, I don't know, but it sure looks good.

Thanks a lot for the lik mate. I'm going to get them refinish next week. It looks much much better blacked out! I guess it would look even better with the "non-aero?" Q-Ring, but I bought it when I had the S5 and I thought it suited that bike better. It's a good thing that I rode the bike as many as TWO TIMES with that setup before I bought the new frame

..

And thanks for all of your positive comments guys  I'm glad my fellow enthusiasts likes it.

Buy a cheap S-works crankse of ebay. It will be the perfect match and round out the looks.

You can normally find them for 250 on Ebay here in the US but that does not help you much when you are in Denmark.

I'm going to buy it locally if I decide to change the crankset. But I know it is unavailable in satin black atm anyways.

Look at Ebay in Germany. You can get them new for around 300€ if you are lucky.

Great looking SL4. Please can you tell me if this was a custom build or store bought option? Im in Australia and the 2013 SL4 PRO is only available as a frame here - not as a complete bike.

Awesome bike BUT it must get S-Works cranks. Then it will be perfect ;)

Just bringing this back from the dead!

OP, what BB are you using on this set up as I'm looking to fit a pair of Rotor 3D+ to my Tarmac SL4.

Out of curiosity, how tall are you? Looking to move from a 58 to 56 and noticed your tall saddle height.
