So all the pricing and specs are now available online. I am extremely interested in either the Aeroad or Ulimate CF SLX. So many good specificcations available as well :D

Your thoughts on them?

The geometry for the 2013 Ultimate CF SLX is very similar to the Ultimate AL 2012(and 2013),

Ultimate CF SLX geometry is quite different from the geometry for the Ultimate CF

£3429 for a complete Speedmax CF!! Most TT frames cost more than that!
Drool, off to check the geometry against my TT position......

Edit: Medium comes to within a few MM of current position. I'd better start saving! (almost identical stack (519) and reach (432) to 56cm P3 for those who are feeling lazy!)

Yeah it's an awesome price. I'm just comtemplating whether to order a DA 9000 or Record equipped CF SLX at the moment :noidea:

Really happy with the new CF SLX's geometry also.

I know at one point Competitive Cyclist had plans to bring Canyon to the U.S.

I have heard nothing lately, have these plans been scraped?

It looks to me that Canyon only sells complete bikes for 2013. I can't see frame set only anymore.
If this is the case, it really sucks!

According to the Swedish Canyon-rep there will be frame sets for 2013,
but they will have to update the webpages.

Awesome news and thanks for the info.
I guess it's time to think to put my 2012 Ultimate up for sale!

Canyon has just a stupid cheap move by making all the Ultimate CF SLX size with the same seat tube angle of 73.5.

Awesome. If Speedmax CF Evo frameset were to be under 3k euro, I'd guess they should sell like hot pancakes.

Constant reach scaling (or close to it) is certainly an interesting approach.

The speedmax seems to have bb92 bottom bracket. Is there a conversion kit to bb30 crank (cannondale sisl)?

Cervelo, and probably many others, have had proportional stack/reach scaling for several years already.
AFIK at least.
